Swiss National Bank (SNB) conducts 2024 survey on payment methods
The Swiss National Bank is conducting a survey on payment methods of private individuals again this year. Over the coming months, around 2,000 people resident in Switzerland will be asked about their habits regarding the use of payment methods.
The aim of the survey is to obtain information on the Swiss population’s payment behaviour and to identify any changes in the use of various payment methods over time. The survey comprises questions covering subjects such as people’s motivation behind their choice of payment method, acceptance at the point of sale, and the use of new payment methods.
The SNB will be conducting the 2024 survey on payment methods of private individuals in collaboration with the market research company YouGov Schweiz. The SNB will publish its findings once it has evaluated the survey results.
